Ledger is a service, not a company. It is provided and operated by LAC Tech (lactech.net).
This policy explains how refunds work for Ledger subscriptions. Payments are processed by Stripe and refunds are issued by LAC Tech.
If Ledger is not right for you, you can request a full refund within fourteen (14) days of your payment. You do not need to give a reason, and you are not required to leave the account unused — link a bank, import statements, run the analysis and decide for yourself within those fourteen days.
Refunds are returned to the original payment method. Once a refund is issued, the subscription ends and access to the application stops.
LAC Tech is the seller of record for all Ledger orders and handles billing enquiries, cancellations and refunds. Card payments are processed by Stripe. To request a refund, email luc@lactech.net with the email address on your subscription, or use the billing portal linked from the Billing page to cancel.
Include your order or invoice number and the email address used at checkout so the request can be matched to your order.
Refund requests within the 14-day window are approved as a matter of course, no reason required, and are returned to the original payment method by Stripe.
Subscriptions renew automatically until cancelled. If a renewal charge catches you out, email luc@lactech.net — we consider renewal refund requests case by case and will usually refund an unused period.
You can avoid renewal charges entirely by cancelling before the renewal date shown on the Billing page and on every invoice.
You can cancel at any time from the Billing page or the Stripe billing portal. Cancelling stops all future renewals immediately, and your access continues until the end of the period you have already paid for.
Nothing in this policy limits any non-waivable right you have under mandatory consumer law in your jurisdiction, or any refund obligation we are required to fulfil under applicable law. Where such a right applies, it takes precedence.
